I watched Equestria Girls

I should note that when I first saw the concept art etc I was like "lol hasbro" I didn't get all buttblistered like the other bronies

So watching the actual movie I didn't have very high expectations and I have to say that I'm entirely neutral on it, it's pretty dumb but it's relatively inoffensive

there were really gay tropes they injected into it like the "prom " and "WINX/SAILOR MOON ENDING!!!111" but it was tolerable

I would not recommend it to anybody and I don't understand why Sunset Shimmer had to be a new character instead of just Trixie but I'd like her to be canon, Flash Sentry can go fuck himself though

The most disappointing part of this movie was probably that nothing will come out of it and everybody will pretend it never happened making it entirely pointless canonically
